Will Shortz to appear at campaign fundraiser
Will Shortz, puzzle editor of The New York Times and the puzzle master on National Public Radio's "Weekend Edition Sunday Morning," will appear at Flourtown Country Club Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
The evening will include a dinner reception, a series of word games hosted by Shortz, and a screening of the documentaiy film "Wordplay."
Admission is $50, and proceeds will benefit the political campaign of Doug Heller, the Democratic candidate for Springfield Township Commissioner from Ward 1.
Heller, himself a crossword puzzle editor, is a friend of Shortz and also appears in "Wordplay."
