Aqua PA To Close Willow Grove Avenue In Springfield Township For Water Main Installation

Aqua Pennsylvania will close Willow Grove Avenue between Flourtown Avenue and Cheltenham Avenue in Springfield Township, Montgomery County, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Wednesday (May 21) for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
During construction, Willow Grove Avenue through traffic will be detoured over Stenton Avenue, Paper Mill Road, and Cheltenham Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
Work is expected to be done in 3 days.
