Flourtown Post Office
I firmly oppose any plans that would move the Flourtown Post Office to Fort Washington or permanently reduce its services. I don't want to go to Fort Washington to pick up a package. If that is a temporary need, I can understand, but if these plans are intended to be permanent, I will fight them. Part of what gives a community its identity (and its postmark) is its post office.
The Board of Commissioners has formally requested the help of Congresswoman Schwartz to assist in efforts to retain consumer services in Flourtown.
If you receive a notice of attempted delivery of a letter or package and that it is being held at the Fort Washington office, you can call them (215-646-6796) and ask that it be brought to the Flourtown Post Office next day for pickup.
As I learn more information, I will expand this page.
